Co-Founder and Director

Gold Coast Multicultural Arts (GCMAGIC) | Current

Co-founded and continue to lead one of the Gold Coast's most active multicultural arts organisations. GCMAGIC delivers creative programs, exhibitions, performances, festivals, workshops, and community development initiatives that celebrate cultural diversity, social inclusion, and artistic excellence.

Curator

Annual Themed Art Exhibitions

Curate and coordinate annual exhibitions that bring together artists from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Each exhibition explores a specific theme, encouraging artistic dialogue, community participation, and cultural exchange through visual art.

Editor

Peyvand (Connection) Magazine

Founding editor of Peyvand (Connection), a bilingual Persian-English publication that promotes cultural understanding, community engagement, and artistic expression. The magazine provides a platform for sharing stories, creative works, community news, and intercultural perspectives.

Founder and Coordinator

Persian Cultural Group – Gold Coast

Established and coordinated a community-based cultural network that supports cultural preservation, community participation, and cross-cultural engagement through events, celebrations, educational activities, and artistic programs.

Community Art Gallery Initiative

Initiated and developed a community art gallery concept aimed at increasing public access to the arts, supporting emerging and culturally diverse artists, and creating opportunities for creative participation within the wider community.

Community Impact

Throughout my career, I have worked to strengthen connections between artists,
communities, government agencies, and cultural organisations. My projects have provided opportunities for hundreds of artists, volunteers, and community members to engage in meaningful creative experiences that promote inclusion, wellbeing, and cultural understanding.
